The Dark Knight Joker coat grenade rig.

Does anyone know if there are any references to the Joker coat grenades from the Dark Knight? I'm thinking 5 grenades with belt straps, purple wool for the finger held detonator tied to all 5 grenades and 6 roughly stitched patches on the main piece of black fabric which I assume are what holds it to the inner coat? I originally thought the stitches held the grenades but I dont think that's the case.

Any dimensions for he black fabric or all sits on?

What is the purpose of the safety pins?

No idea about the safety pins. I'll add them to my rig I just built though. Not accurate but good enough for me.

Nice! Just got all my materials and working on mine this weekend. It seems like the toy version might also have buckles. Undecided if I want to include them.
