ok the patent was signed march 5 1863 on march 6 1863 we lost at the alamo the gun houlds five 36 cal led balls and has a 9 inch barrel and is 13 inch over all it has oak grips on it and has a engraved scenery on the cylinder only

To bad Dean & Sam don't use a Colt 1836 Paterson....................:eek Dean & Sam use a Pietta Deluxe 1836 Paterson REPLICA. The ONLY mods done to the show gun was the cylinder to fire bullets (instead of cap and ball), engraved pentagram on the handles and the engraved Latin on the barrel of the pistol. Really the mods done on this gun are EASY to do the trick is finding the Pietta Deluxe 1836 pistol..........................:$
