There's a prequel novel that was just released called BEFORE THE BATMAN, that covers his teenage years & 'Year One', since this film is supposed to be 'Year Two'. Without spoiling anything, there's a definite reason he'd pick a car like that.

I prefer the original The Batman film, in which the Batmobile was a 1949 Mercury convertible…

There's an interview quote from director Matt Reeves about this version of the Batmobile:
“The Nolan films established the Batmobile as a tank, which was a brilliant idea… But I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be cool if this guy is a loner and a gearhead and fashioning these things by himself, taking parts of other cars and kit cars? So it’s recognizable as a car this time. But it’s like a muscle car. One that he’s made himself.”

That was actually from the second set of serials, Batman and Robin from 1949. The first serial set was called Batman from 1943.
I actually like that concept. The more TV spots and trailers I see of this movie, the more interested I get. If I can I definitely want to get to the theater for this one.

2h 55m runtime is a bit long. Obviously if its a great film won't be an issue. Still very excited about this.
I learned this last night.. I had to google it because there was no way my friend was right.. sure enough he was

And I’m not joking about this, movies I want to see i won’t drink anything hours before the show.. I don’t want to miss anything
But even when I do that I get a placebo effect..
End game was the hardest one for me.. then at the end there is all the running water.. and you have to wait for the end credit scene..
I’m not a fan of wicked long movies
There are sites/apps that list good times to go to the bathroom during a movie with minimal damage.
That's the future for a while.
I wish some filmmakers with clout (like Nolan) would remember the 1950s-60s and bring back intermissions for long shows. They need to face reality. Humans aren't designed to eat concessions and then sit still for 3 hours. Kids and teenagers don't wanna do it. Middle-aged people have kids with them. Older people can't do it. That adds up to most of the audience.

That certainly includes me. I'm older and I have back problems, so during a movie that's three hours long I'd have to get up every 30-60 minutes and go walk around the lobby for 10-20 minutes, missing the movie. Besides that, I don't want to sit in a movie theater for three hours no matter how good the movie is.

Intermissions area no-no because at 15 minute breaks with 8 shows a day....that's 2 hours, enough time to squeeze in another screening!
We should be lucky they didn't split it in half and charge 15 bucks for two flicks to make 2x the money.

Just wait 'til you're older.
I just turned 50 & when my grandson recently needed to get medicine every 4 hours, I became the night nurse. They actually told the doctor that Pops was up every 2 hours to pee, so maintaining the schedule wouldn't be a problem.
