mmmm like we all dont know about the origin........ good god do the producers think we havent read the comics, seen the movies etc... wish they would accept we all know and just get into a good story..... dont want carnage, venom etc..... would be nice to see something with chameleon or what ive always wanted to see a movie based on kravens last hunt.. now that would be cool.... better yet i would love to see a movie featuring mysterio especialy the story where he works out spideys powers in an fx related way to set him up for crimes.

you just read my mind, Mysterio is my favourite Spidey vilain aswell, If they're going to put him in a next movie, I hope they won't change him very much I like the glas sphere/bowl on his head.
As for the Origin story , Isn't there any difference between the "Normal" and the "Amazing" Spiderman , like amazing spiderman was a retold story?
To me it explains the difference between the suits, but I guess that was clearified already. I like the texture of the new suit , it kind of takes more focus of the cowl/mask, the cowl looks more organic insect-like this way, great costume.
I don't like The lizzard yet (I expected a more raptor-type head), maybe it still will, I miss the lizzard like mouth, as long as he got a tail to whip with, I could get used to it.

at last someone who agrees with mysterio !!!! yeah i would hope they keep the dome head too. the fact that he is an fx artist sits well with me too.... always loved those stories in the old comics.... yeah i agree also would love to see the lizard with a croc / raptor head and you just have to have that tail too. think the concept art ...well hoping the concept art isnt the finished thing... way too human for my liking... as for the suit... hated it at first but its slowly growing on me... does look very insect like, just wish it had more webbing less squares. still goin to see the movie though, loved spidey since i was 3 , over 40 years now and still a fan.... not of the new comics but i still go back to my kirkby , ditko, etc.... when it got to clones and other worlds etc i lost track..... good ole standard spidey is what i love.

Well, since Richard Parker is in, there's going to be "untold" stuff, by definition.
Thinking it going to be the story of peters parents and the stuff they were mixed up in that led to peter being brought up by uncle ben and aunt may.... now this could bring another dimension to the back story.... i.e. where peter got the formula for web fluid or the tech to build the suit or shooters etc.. if this is the case i would be happy with a new origin story.... end of the day we have to give this film a shot... all we are doing now is speculating and presuming... looking forward to a new spidey movie.... with the batman stuff i was happily surprised by the reeboot stuff gotta give this a chance.

The one thing I'm not liking is that Gwen obviously knows his identity. In the original run of ASM she never knew Pete was Spider-man. And she actually hated Spider-man after the death of her father. She blamed him for it, in fact. That was another of the great quandrys of Pete's existence.

There is a scene in the trailer where she says something like "I'm in trouble." Maybe she finds out halfway though, accepts it and thinks it's cool, and then her dad dies at the end and she ultimately resents him for it. Seems like a good way to cause drama in the sequel (that is, if Gwen doesn't die in this movie).

It would actually make sense if he had a belt in this film iteration, since he would probably need pockets for his extra web fluid cartridges... :facepalm:facepalm

Im Working on some marketing products for this movie and got some other high res images of the Lizard....the more i see the lizard the more i think its an awful design.
They could have ate least given him a less humoid face...he simply looks like a green bald guy.
