The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

I went to scale the file using RaidenTyler's scale tutorial. But I realized that the file he's using to scale comes down to a point on the belt unlike the roundedness of the asm2 suit. Any ideas on how to compensate for the difference?

Instead of using the belt point, line up the points to each side. The top of the legs each have a V dip in the pattern. Hopefully you understand what I'm talking about.

If you wanna eat some chips, play accordion or maybe play in someone nose, it could be a good thing to have zipper on wrist like that...
I'll use them to play guitar and to go to the peepee room..
For the crotch i use a single horizontal zipper as the pattern wasnt make to cut it along the bikini... God my english is bad!!!!
Lunaman thanks for all ur explanation!

IronHabs, is it possible to a short horizontal zipper around 5inches in front for convenience to pee-pee room?

Why not diagonal bikini line zipper. It could work I guess. or dual bikini zipper.

Didnt try it but i think it will alter the pattern.. u need an extra "crotch piece" if u wanna do that.. this is why i did horizontal and it works fine.. on my next one ill do the dual way

Ironically, the Amazing Spider-man 2 is the only film that DIDN'T use a U-zip, but since most people making patterns (kenlandrum included) are still using the pelting layout that was based on a scan from the pattern used the second Raimi movie, the pieces of the suits are still set-up to be most easily accomodated by a U-zip. The ASM2 pelting pattern requires separated shirt and pants sections, as they had fully separating zipper around the waist and a lower back zip that formed sort of a T.

Hi Lunaman,
Does the lower back zip upwards or downward to suit up?

I would copy/paste the whole crotch and place it under the pattern. Or somewhwre in it. When u sew the suit u just cut out the crotch area and install the other one with zippers.

IronHabs, what do u mean by an extra "crotch piece"?

What is the length of your horizontal zipper?

Here is a pic of a bikini line zipper which is hidden by the black lines. spider dual zip.jpeg

does anyone know how accurate the front and back 3d printed spider decals are in size?

My new revised pattern will be available soon. Aside from the colors, the main design changes will be the new front spider with longer top arms that lay on the webbing better and more accurately, and slightly thinner webbing.

Will release as soon as test print comes back from FOD.

You're like the Energizer Bunny of free patterns...you just keep going!

I'd be interested to see how the colors are printing on your latest pattern. Can't wait to see the test print.

I changed the red and the blue a little bit so it doesn't look dark, I'll print it today, I'll post pics as soon as they have it

Be careful resizing that far down. The human body does not scale linearly so the feet, hands, and head may be too tight to use. If possible I'd trace those areas onto some scrap Lycra and sew it up quickly to make sure it'll fit before you spend good money getting it dye subbed.
