The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

I just see the sewings. They run along the webbing. The mask is built up different than the patterns or ken or orhader etc.

Hmm, you're probably right. Darn, I was hoping I spotted something no one else has lol

Thanks, Aron.

I looked at the preview of the pattern is it the Raimi pattern

Yeah, I jumped the gun a bit.... they are still tweaking things. Regardless of the images on there, the important thing is the link. Folks can use the link to go there and pay for the print and then upload whatever file they want.... as long as they use the link to pay I will get credit for the sale. I just sent over some different images for them and they are making changes as we speak.

The great thing is that for those who are not sure what type of material, etc. the link should help them get to where they're going!

The preview pattern is just an example, before he made the pattern in this thread, kenlandrum made that Raimi Pattern shown in the preview. FOD will print whatever pattern you upload.

Ken, please ask them not to use a picture of me on your landing page, thanks.

no problem... Was not my doing, but either way it's already done. I have notified them.

Can I ask, what are the face masks are used for?

Do you mean the face shell or the fabric mask? The face shell is used for giving you the face shape that Spidey has and provides a base for magnetic lenses. The fabric mask, should be pretty self explanatory.

Wanna see a super-shady looking version of kenlandrum's face shell? Here's my progress!

Foam, resin, fibreglass, sanding, drilling, more sanding. It isn't pretty by any means, but it does what it's meant to do. I edited the original file to work better for foam. The great thing about leaving the shell in this state is that it's incredibly easy to heat and reshape.

Now, with the mask...

I think it looks pretty good, except from the back. I also feel it looks a bit big--almost disproportionate. I'm considering taking in the jaw area, but then that might make the top of the shell look disproportionate to the rest of the face area. Thoughts?

A short time later...

I've purposely left out the extra walls inside the eye holes because I'll be covering them over and making them solid when I go to fibre glass the whole thing. This is because I will probably have different size (smaller) lens frames.

Over all very happy with it though, this is the second time I've ever pepped and the file was a joy to work with :)

I sent a sample to FoD :

I received it today, and this is how it resulted:

As you can see, the colors aren't at all accurate.

Since some one pointed they'd like a a black/symbiote suit of this amazing spiderman 2 design, here's what I got not done with it yet.
Muscle shading is still there as you can see well you can't really tell when its zoomed out this much when its zoomed in you can see it fits well, spiders are how I feel would be good. They're the same color as the webbing on the suit.
