The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

I am confused too :) cause he talks about a 3d printer. So i guessed he wants the faceshell too.
No, he mentioned the lack of 3D printing near him as the reason he went with TJack's shell (also the benefit of supporting artisans on the forum) instead of printing ken's shell.
He made a very clear distinction between the "mask" that "stretches" and the faceshell he's getting from TJack. Seems to me that everybody else is mistaking "mask" for "faceshell" when he didn't. He was just a little nervous and wanted to makes sure he didn't have to resize the fabric pattern in order for it to fit with his faceshell.

Come on man, you're from Germany, don't penalize the guy for not having English as his first language.

I wasnt meaning anything negative :)

I know how difficult it is in a different language. Especially when u r not confident in talking to native speakers.
My gf is peruvian and her fam doesnt speak englosh and my spanish is superbad :)

I was just misreading/misunderstanding it.

Just wanted to say that i was confused
And you made me understand it :)

No worries, brother. :)

Hi guys. :)I've got a question about opening the pattern in Photoshop.
When I view it at 50%, the scale and everything look right. But when I view it at 100%, everything is too large, as you can see in my pic with the ruler alongside.
The top one is 50%. The bottom one is 100%.
Is it just me, or is it supposed to be like this? :rolleyes

What resolution is your screen running at - my understanding is that rulers alongside screens to determine actual size can be a nightmare depending on resolution etc - that you will need to go from the height/width measurements in photoshop?

Umm, I'm gonna sound stupid but I don't know. Haha. How do I check that, sir?
Sorry I'm a photoshop dummy :$
Ps. I'm on Macbook.

view the image in "print size" but you will have to define your screen resolution under the PPI settings in preferences.......that might take a bit of tinkering - sorry best advice I can give; easier to interpret bloods than this :p

This probably isn't a big deal, but I noticed some gaps between colors on the arms of your pattern. They're only noticeable when you turn off the weblines layer. Not sure if it's something you'd even want to fix, but just thought I'd point it out.

I'm working on a version of the suit without weblines, so that's why I noticed. I also realized I'll need to double-check the weblines since you used them as trim lines for those parts of the suit.

Thanks for providing this awesome pattern for us.

See if this works for you.

The shooter files were not to any scale... they were huge. Meant to be scaled to whatever size you or anyone else wants before printing. I went ahead and scaled them both to approx. 50mm. They are both now around $11.50.

These models are not all tested yet. I am releasing them as I make them so like anything else there may be issues, especially with shapeways.

How can I get these shooters for $11.50? I tried clicking the link but it say's "Not for Sale"?

No, I probably won't fix that until I upload another revision. It's an easy fix though. 5 minutes maybe. You might wanna do a light web layer for a guide after you print.... Just a suggestion.

Should be fixed... I have no idea why it suddenly changed to private.... ARGHHH SHAPEWAYS!!

For the new Photoshop users, here is how you can easily make guide lines in case you decide to go "sans webbing" because you want to glue something on or paint them with puff...

Open the psd file, locate the webbing layers and...

step-2.jpgstep-3.jpg
step-4.jpg
step-5.jpg
step-6.jpg
step-7.jpg that's it!

Awesome thanks Kenlandrum. so if I choose the $11.69 shooters I would have to sand them a bit? or is it the same if I choose the other option of $12.92? Is this price for Both shooters or just 1? Can I order it through here and just paypal you or complete the transaction on shapeways? Don't know if you get a sellers fee. Thanks

When i try to upload the webshooter to a 3d printing service it says "a failure was found in the object file and can not be printed".

What do i do wrong? ^^
I have no clue
