The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

As far as I can tell, it looks more and more like black with gloss painted over it, also it seems it's thicker at the joint areas and thinner on the lines in terms of the brick structure, it's definitelly a very interesting suit to dissect

The bricks are printed on it. But i am thinking cuz of puff painting the blue. I will see how the metallic blue will look.

I was once again contacted by FOD and they asked if I were interested in setting up a mini-site to link my pattern to their printing services. Deal is, for every 10 prints they do when folks use the special link to their site I will receive a freebie. It looks like you would pay FOD and then upload whatever file you like... it's not like you are tied to one specific pattern file.
Anyway, I would get a credit for every time you use their service. I accepted, and they are working on the site (along with their own as they said they are doing an update as well)
This won't change anything other than the way you would get to the FOD web-site. I will still have the files posted here and you can still print them anywhere you like... I just ask that if you decide to use FOD, please use the link I will provide soon. I realize it might be several days before they get it together, so if you are in a hurry to print, go for it.... this is just something I thought I would mention for future ref.... Stay tuned.

ANYWAY....
This morning I am preparing a revised .psd (still RGB) and a .jpg in CMYK with the cut lines on (VERY faintly) in hopes this might help some of you without photoshop.
It is still the std. 27" from mid face to belt bottom. Please resize as you see fit.

Some of the changes are:
I fixed a tiny web detail on the left neck on both psd and jpg.
I turned the muscle shading OFF on the psd and adjusted the colors accordingly on both psd and jpg.
I turned the cut lines on 26% opacity, very thin and faint on the jpg.
Converted the jpg to CMYK. It can essentially be uploaded as is if all looks good to you.

This is basically the file I will be getting a test print of when I upload for myself.

I will leave a link to the last version in case anyone still wants that... NEW link for jpg should be up soon, psd will be later tonight.

enjoy!

I'd go with a greyish black to be honest, that might be more accurate, it just seems hard to get that exact look with puff paint though, it's very tricky to apply it like how they screened it, it's very uneven in areas

Yea. I sawa suit from el fett which was probably done witj metallic blue. It looks awesome.
Not sure if the metallic black would steal too much color and would let the suit look more black than blue.
I willjust try it :)

Alright go for it bro, I get what you mean :) interested to see the outcome

I think we should print the blue arena should be more light and then use black puffpaint, after that trial to paint one more coat of arcylic gloss paint so the fabric would be shine like in the movie

And i think we should not remove the muscle shade, we should set muscle shade to low, in the trailer you can still see the muscle shade appear

Put the suit on for my 2 little step sisters, here's some pictures of suit.
Personally with the way the lighting in the room it captured the red perfectly.
How the mask looks thats the overall color how it looks, light in the room hit it just right to show it off.
