the absolute BEST Star Trek tunics ?

okay here is a question I don't think I've seen answered pertaining to 1st season tunics

(do we know) was the screen used fabric velvet or velour?

sorry but I'm a fabric NOOB and not sure if they are different or the same type of fabric....

That's what an invisible ziper is supposed to look like. Are you used to seeing something else? Sounds like you're used to looking at invizible zippers that have been applied using a standard zipper foot instead of applied properly with the special zipper foot that's required.

That Christies' tunic is probably one that was made for DS9 "Trials and Tribbleations".

Very nice, GM.

There was a time when I might have been able to fit into those pants. It was around the time I was 14 years old. :p

:lol
Precisely what I thought when I saw the measurements and the pants being created.

I have a old first season wrap that was made in the 80's its not the correct color, were can I find "avocado" dye so I can change the color ?

Thanks,
aljf :confused

The first season wraps were actually olive green. Here's a photo I took of a swatch from the original bolt, next to a FS Fan Deck color range...

With flash, and without.

You can use RIT dye to adjust the color of your existing wrap to match.

~ GM

The proper formula is 1 pkg Tan, 1/4 tsp Dark Green, but you will need to take into account the existing color of your garment before mixing the dye.

My guess on the color would be a mint Green ? would the same formula work 1 pkg Tan, 1/4 tsp Dark Green still work ?

Thanks,
