Interest The 13th Warrior - Mother of Wendol Idol - Prop Replica

One of my favourite movies is The 13th Warrior, and one of the first props I made when starting out was a replica of the Mother of Wendol Idol.




Over the last couple of months I've been pulling a few copies to clients, both for Resin Kits and Painted Versions.




I've even been pouring some experimental castings, using fillers and pigments as part of a molding and casting workshop that I run. Lots of fun!




Anyways, I realised that some of the fine folk here might also appreciate this piece, so I am starting this interest thread to see if there is any interest.

Total cost will be £20 ($28 USD approx) for kits and £50 ($70 USD approx) this includes shipping world wide.

I have some casting concrete here that I could try out. Been looking for an excuse to use not, never even thought that this would be the perfect mold for it!

I'm a Beowulf scholar in my other job, so one of the appeals of this for me would be the feeling of having a faux Beowulf artifact (which was sorta Crichton's idea) and for some reason, a concrete version would just feel a little more real too me.

I'll see about casting one early next week (I'm away this weekend) to see how it turns out.

Sincere apologies about the delay, i've been in and out of the country dealing with some family issues back home, so this kinda took a back seat.

I managed to cast one in concrete, it feels LEGIT but doesn't look great. Just thought I'd give you shout, to see if you're still interested, and whether or not you'd like me to paint this up?
