Looking great, dude! Another quick question: What grit sandpaper are you using to get your lid that shiny? Just curious as I'm going through the same process.
Haven't begun to contemplate Phasma just yet. Still focused on getting my First Order TK done first. I'll post more as I move on though! Keep watching!
If I could recommend Creations N' Chrome (https://www.creationsnchrome.com/) if you do end up going all in on Phasma. Haven't used them personally (due to location and an unfinished bucket), but a couple of other daft punk guys have used them before and get some spectacular results!
Speaking of buckets, yours is looking absolutely stunning! Great job. With that primer it looks like one helluva cookie and dear god do I want to eat it..
I will have to. Currently this bucket has nearly 2 gallons of bondo on it to get the shape, so it's super heavy. In order to make it wearable for me, I'll have to cast it. I'm planning on using Smooth-Cast 300 for the material.

I wanted to create registration keys that I could add to my mold so I decided to use an ice cube tray and pour silicone rubber into it. Worked out really well!
Rookie Mistake #1: don't place your registration keys so high on the helmet. May need to add a 3rd seam down front! Hopefully tomorrow when I open this up and see the interior of the mold, I'm not forced to start this process all over again!
