TFA Stormie Armor

Here's a small update on the Capt. Phasma helmet. Still cleaning it up a bit but the various colors of bondo, sintra and card are throwing us off so we shot it with primer grey to see what we need to smoothen out.

Capt. Phasma Parts Update............

Cod piece and heel armor have been molded. Shoe covers as well as the curve spat has a thin layer of fiberglass so we could add bondo to smoothen them out. Phasma extended shins have also been smoothened out. All these would be molded by next week.

Update:

Basically, all parts are just held on using masking tape - so please excuse how I present the pics below. There are only 3 remaining parts left to be molded - butt armor, thermal detonator and belt boxes. They will be finished by next week :)
The thermal detonator in the pics below is still in cardboard/prototype form, but naturally will look the same after being molded. I just thought I'd include it in the pics.
Apologies for the barefoot appearance - hopefully my new tfa boots will arrive by next week.

Looks great as it has done from the start, great job, can I ask if you made the belt pouches yourself ?

Yes, well actually my tailor did as I dont know how to sew hehe. I was searching for Cordura fabric for the pouches but lucked out so I found this large car organizer that you hang at the back of the headrest for putting in various stuff.......which I thought had the same fabric look as Cordura so I bought it and told my tailor to just dismantle it and use the fabric to make both pouches.

He did a really good job on them, they look great,

Just thought I'd share what I've decided on the gaskets - 2 layers of Spandex sandwiching a 1/4" cord and sewn individually. In spite of the cord, its still very flexible. Gaskets is incorporated with the top under suit so no messing around with straps, etc.
We'll be offering these as well. Feel free to check out for updates: https://www.facebook.com/mlcfiberglassing/
