Terriers

I don't know if anyone here is watching this show, but it is excruciatingly good. If Donal Logue doesn't get an Emmy, I don't know what an actor has to do.

It's sort of The Big Lebowski by way of The Shield, if that makes any sense. And if you watch the show, it does. :)

I agree wholeheartedly! I've never been a fan of Donal but he's amazingly good in this role. His partner, Michael Raymond-James, is a real find. Funny dude!

I'm not thrilled with his ex-partner, though. His personality seems like someone acting tough but that's a minor quibble. The show is one of my favorites.

I love this show. I think hollywood writers should be forced to watch this as it his incredible dialogue, excellent pacing, and perfect character development.

The last ep where Hank's sister is cradling the picture of the two of them as kids is a real family photo of Donal and Karina Logue that Donal has used as his FB profile pic, if paper props guys want it.

I didn't think I would like it much, but gave it a shot based on Shawn Ryan being involved and I think it is great. I watch it every week, and look forward to the next episode.:thumbsup

I certainly hope it's not destined for the "brilliant but cancelled" route, but I do think the name, and the advertising campaign really hurt it. I thought it was going to be some kind of comedy about small dogs after the first couple of commercials ran on FX.

Terriers is cancelled and Hollywood re-affirms it still has its collective heads up their asses.

Actually, based on the ratings, America has its heads up their asses. The network would've loved to keep it on but they were losing too much money.

At least they were able to put a button on it so you get somewhat of a satisfying conclusion. I like to think we were given a great movie and five perfect sequels...what franchise can boast that?

Of course, I may have to punch someone in the face if they come up to me 6 months from now gushing about this great show "Terriers" that they discovered in re-runs....

FX's marketing campaign was absolutely horrible. Their ads gave no impression of what the show was about. well, at least they have more room to run Two and half Men re-runs.

I agree...even when they started showing clips, they weren't even the funny ones.

I read an article where FX was talking about their testing of the show, to see why people weren't watching. Apparently, it wasn't "edgy" enough (audience expectation of FX shows) and too subtle. Oh well.

Bummer! This show was all about the characters... and the actors did a great job of bringing them to life. I'm going to miss these guys.

Just as a heads up to any fans of this show, but they are streaming now on Netflix.

God, I forgot how great this show is!

This is hilarious. I actually did an email interview with Donal YEARS ago when he had a brand new Myspace page. For about 5 minutes I wanted to be a journalist and would just email and interview people I could.

REALLY REALLY REALLY nice guy by the way. Loads of fun and very warm and offered to send some autographed photos and all that.

I'll have to check out the show. Thanks Lar. (That's my nickname for you Larry. "Lar")
