Terrahawks Zeroid Scratchbuild

This is the Zeroid I scratchbuilt last year. It has radio controlled eyes and an in-built amplifier and speaker so that you can plug any mobile device into it to play sound. The mouth lights flash in time to the sound.

That's so cool. really nice work. may I ask what you used for the silver color?

Thanks. The silver was humbrol silver spray paint with a coat of acrylic laquer on top.

Loving the work Kevin. Found these post as I was researching my own potential build. Thought this and the cubes would have been a good first build. Struggling for the LED for the eyes. What did you use?

Thanks, The rectangular LEDs for the eyes are still available. I got mine from an online electronics component supplier (can't remember now if it was Rapid or Farnell), but I don't think they are that hard to find. The driver circuit I got off eBay.

Thought it was about time the Zeroid made friends. Cybermats are not a problem, but he's really not that sure about the clockwork sprouts.
