Just had the email from HCG.

I would have prefered if it had just been a cell - no lighter.

I like this company. Interesting idea. Great price. Nice packaging!

But, I would've preferred a static cell, too. It such an obscure piece anyway;there's really no novelty in pulling out the lighter.

Who's gonna know what it is anyway?! Die-hards would gobble-up a 20.00 static piece though!

Perhaps a conflict with another license prohibited it.

I'm not familiar with the prop at all, really. I wonder if it is to scale? And if it even... you know, looks like the prop.
The price is good, plus it looks pretty neat. If it's featured in the new movie, I'll have to grab one.
Oh, and the most recent trailer makes the flick look awesome.

I know what the real one looks like and this version looks to be missing a piece inbetween the two "prongs".

But I wonder if they left it out on purpose, or if this is seen in the new movie and this is how it looks?

I'm highly inclined to buy one since it is plated metal, but it will have to be 1:1 in size.

Just received a reply back from "customer service".

"Thank you for your email. All that I know about this is the same information as the description released. This is a novelty lighter.

Have a wonderful day."

Customer service...and they don't know any more than I do about their own product??? :confused

And this was AFTER my initial email sent on Friday at 9:30 AM, to which I received an automated reply that they would respond within atleast 3 hours.



I still hadn't received a reply when I checked my email on Monday.

I don't think I'll be purchasing this.
