Is there any difference from the T-700 and T-800 other then colors? Also is there any difference with Cameron from the tv show?

The T-700 was supposed to be larger than the 800, filling an evolutionary gap between the 600 and 800 and it had rubber skin too. the problem is the canon of the movies seems to have changed slightly so every time you read something nothing matches at times. I think Cameron's some odd offshoot of the t800 series, probably another model like the ARnie is the 101 model. they never show any other models in the 800 series other in the comics since they can't afford to pay arnie for his likeness. That and I'm not even sure the Tv show is canon with the movies.

The show had "triple 8s", T-888. 3 chips, very advanced. The show is in it's own timeline, and there were multiple "send backs" of Terminators as well as people. John, his Mother, and Cameron even did a future jump. A T-1001, and the finale... crap in heaven, they really went out there with it. Best I can say is rent or buy T:TSCC and keep an open mind.

I was thinking about picking up one of the recast heads from ebay and maybe paint it like the T-700 or Cameron. Ive seen the show I like it. I like the diff time lines and what knot.

I should go ahead and point out that there are only four Terminators that were ever created by James Cameron: The "600 Series" (which is only referred but not seen), the T-800 series (with a Model 101 exterior), the T-1000 and the T-70 (the first bi-ped series Terminator that was created by Cyberdyne). However, some can argue that the T-70 series does not count as a part of the film's timeline, as it was not featured in the films and only presented in the "Terminator 2: 3-D" stunt show (even though Cameron did design it and had active participation in the creation of the actual show).

I think for the 600 they pretty much took the 700 and figured they'd make the caveman ancestor of it lol. I'd love to see a T70 and I count it since Cameron came up with it.

I like the Terminator 2 3D Endoskeleton. I've seen some call it the T-70, others call it T-80. I'll be building the bust when it arrives. Sure would have been nice if Hot Toys would have made a 1:6 figure of this, the T-1, TX (human and endoform), etc.... even Terminator Salvations moto-terminator.

Can you imagine a 1:1 bust?

A 1:6 of this T1-7, light up, hell, remote control. It would be like your birthday & Christmas if they made it.

I'm glad to see others like the T-70. Honestly, I think they should have had it featured in "Terminator 3," or at least had it come up somewhere in "Terminator Salvation." According to the Terminator Wiki, it had some story that the model was used to guard important facilities and that by the time Skynet could mass produce it, the tech was outdated so they were not widely used (where that information came from is not even cited, and could be total BS). But I still like the idea of it being used.

I really like the T-70, I wish somebody was selling cast of the head. Oneye where did you get the T-70 bust?

I think you mean the 600 series- which Reese refers to when describing the Future War to Sarah.

the T-800 series (with a Model 101 exterior)

At least one different model (and possibly series) was in "The Terminator"- played by Franco Columbo in the Future War sequence.

As for this "700 series" was it ever mentioned out loud in T4? Was one ever seen in the film? I think it is BTS stuff that was used to create more (failed) toys.

I thought he said 700 series. My bad.

Yeah, that's true. A different exterior model turns up.

According to the Terminator Wiki, the factory we see John Connor and Kyle Reese fall into in "Terminator Salvation", while escaping the T-800, you see the Terminator factory producing the T-700 Terminators, but I don't know if that's true or not. You can see the page here.

Looks like the T-700 eyes are more of a orange red

I've rationalised it like this:

T1 & T2, are CSM T-800 Terminators. After the events of T2, Cyberdyne ceases to exist, any surviving data is aquired by the Air Forces' Cyber Research Division. This explains why in T3, Arnie describes his model as a T-850, and why the HK's look different compared to the first two movies.

In the case of the T:SCC, the producers of the show said that their timeline doesn't include T3, which explains why the T-850 is never mentionned- it didn't exist.

We do know that the original Skynet did survive the events of T2 by escaping to the internet, revealed in the episode where it hacks into John Henry, the triple eight is a design Skynet itself developed from it's 800 series, which explains the dual pistons on either side of the torso, and why none of the triple 8's look like Arnie (we know that the T-888 designation come from the fact that the producers couldn't secure the rights to use the term 'T-800'). This also explains why the HK look more like the models seen in T1 and T2. It's the same Skynet.

This is how I've firgured it. What do you guys think?

So the T-700 from T4 has a rougher finish then the T-800? Im just going by the hottoy pictures

Well, not only that, it's slightly smaller than the T-800 in its width (honestly, the 700 series looks closer to a normal human size than the "muscle man" T-800 series).
