Terminator arm/ hand reference shots??

Hey guys, machining of my metal terminator arm will begin in earnest on monday when my materials get here. Im in DESPERATE need of some reference shots of the screen-used terminator arm, particularly the mechanics of the hand, as this will be an animatronic.

Anyone have anything like this? I plan on documenting the whole process for everyone to enjoy or try on their own. Blueprints will be provided free on this site- but I need your help guys, Google Image search has given me all it can.

Thanks!

Oops... I forgot. I have more will add to the album once I find them... :$

Thank ya much! I actually have the SS and a set of casts from the Icons arm. The screen-used arms have minor differences that I want to nail in my replica. So far I have schematics for 112 parts (yikes!) that were made by me, of course.
I still need shots of the palm mechanics and the finger cabling from the hero arm used in the film.

Thank you all for your help!

Which specific film are you shooting for? The endo-knuckles are smaller in T2 in order to properly fit underneath the skin.

True, they were turned on a lathe and rounded, unlike the "replicas" floating around. Im looking for the T2 endoarm.

Thanks!

This is a very cool project. I'd been trying to find schematics for years and i'm shocked nobody'd made any and posted them online.

So far I have 112 parts measured up and on paper. I need to build my prototype to refine the schematics for the full machined animatronic arm. And yeah, I will make these schematics available to people who want them. I just need the shots of the palm of the hand from the screen used arm to wrap things up. I got my 6061 aluminum billet in the mail today but I really want some more reference shots before I get started.

Thanks very much guys!

I found the vid by Nephalim XFX that displays an animatronic terminator arm close to what I want to bring to the community. Its awesome! But...the joint-pulleys are machined brass and the hand lacks the ability to roll the knuckles or wag a finger side to side, this hand can only open and close.

High five to the crew that made this! Mine will have stainless all stainless steel and aluminum parts and have the FULL range of motion. I cant wait to start posting progress pics:)
I still need those pictures guys, anything and everything helps!
