Terminator 2 filming locations, steel mill

I will be in Chino Hills on the weekend after next. I thought I could go to Fontana and visit the T2 steel mill . I know that part of the mill was torn down and a raceway was put up in it's place. Anyone know any exact locations on the Fontana site that were filmed for T2. I know that T23D was filmed at another location further East of Fontana.

I thought the entire mill was dismantled...

I believe T23D was filmed out of state. In either Arizona or Nevada. Though I'm not 100% sure off hand. IMDB may show T23D.

T23D was filmed at Eagle mountain mine, a modern day ghost town. A few miles from the AZ border. According to the wiki page there is a fence around the area and a stationed guard.

Whatever they found there in 1996 must'a been some heavy **** :lol I'm sure bullets, prop pieces must be floating around there still.

The Kaiser mill in Fontana is a sprawling place. A part of it was razed for the speedway. I saw some location shoot photos but they were super low resolution.
