Believe so... 1:18 - bought it WAY back... My little nephew threw it at his brother - thus the missing mirror and why everything then got moved behind glass.

    Never found the mirror.

Thanks guys, it’s getting there. Just need to get the nice camera out instead of using my phone!

The dome is from Chad’s run: https://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=284669&highlight=Droid+caller

Today was another package day. MGC Mauser, Sideshow C-3PO to round out my ANH figures, and my Obi Robes for a mannequin display next to my ANH Vader.

Quick picture day. Luke ESB belt as a stand in. The only close to full length mirror was in my daughter’s room.

Oooooo, I like the Obi-Wan robes & belt :thumbsup

The Sideshow 3P0 is nice, although they did screw up the thumbs. I do like the articulated fingers however. I took a photo of my SS 3P0 giving a rude hand gesture :lol. Otherwise. I think the Die Cast Tamashi is king 3P0.

But that 1:1 3P0 head, you have, is drool candy for me :love God, I'd love one of those in my collection!

As I've said before, awesome collection sir :cheers

What's the little lens next to 3PO's head, there? Is that a restraining bolt or something? I don't recognize it.

That’s right! It’s an ARRI lens that was used for a restraining bolt. It might not be 100% the right model but it was a good price considering what they usually sell for. It does disassemble to be very close though.

I bought a small portable photobox that works with my iPhone (or any phone) and some small platforms for flat surfaces or reflections. I want to get one that is a little bit larger, but here is what I have so far:

Okay, so you have to take bits off of it to get it looking closer to a restraining bolt?

Next piece of a puzzle has arrived. I already have several Reade model sets put aside as well as scope mount and flash hider options. Going to be looking for a suitable Mauser now.

I need to thank the rpf member who helped make this possible and I hope he enjoys what will be going in the mail to him.

Re: My Lightsaber Builds (All Real Parts and Replicas)

Here are some updates, more to come later today.

First, Macrobinoculars! Thank you @scottjua for the assembly and paint and @DarkLyte for the stand!

This is a project I never intended on undertaking, but the part hunt was fun and the cobbled together found items are a favorite of mine. Also, some thanks are in order for @trooper for his transition box, wedge, lens plate, and for selling me a green tab VTR plate to go on my box. Thank you @THX1138 for the VTR box and Eumig, and pointing me down this path. Another thanks to @scottjua for some early eBay assistance. :)

Very happy to have this one. Might just add some wires to the 8 pin connectors when I feel like a small project is in order.

Re: My Lightsaber Builds (All Real Parts and Replicas)

Next up, I received my Indy Magnoli boots for my Luke Bespin costume. I don’t usually wear costumes, but this one was ordered in my size so that I could wear it if I wanted to. Checkout the princess and butterfly decor in the background! Very Dagobah-like.

Also, a bit of a disclaimer. I used a Roman TFA saber for the pictures because it was easier to grab quickly. :p

I have four mannequins in process. Obi-Wan ANH, see next post by me. Luke Bespin/Dagobah ESB. Yoda. Darth Vader ANH. See future post.

    - - - Updated - - -

Now for Obi-Wan progress in the basement. I bought a mock turtleneck for myself and a dickie for the mannequin. Still working on a proper belt and boots for this one.

And final update of the day is for my Vader ANH. juajn7fernandez is really to thank for this one. He collected, painted, weathered everything you see here. I do have some genuine boots on the way and a mannequin arriving on Friday to put it on. I did have a SL helmet on the way but it is on hold pending casting of the helmet itself. I’ll either put my eFX legend on this as a place holder or will get an eFX PCR and paint it up a bit for now.

I did an initial test fit of all the parts I have ready to go so far to learn where I need to add padding to the mannequin to bulk him up or add height. Pretty happy with how it went! Still waiting on the boots to arrive from overseas and need to locate some new flexible hands. Mine had the fingers pre-curved, so the only way to get the gloves on is to turn them inside out, and that’s a pain. The MR FX with the blade removed is an excellent belt hanger.

Also working on helmet a very nice ANH helmet option. I might throw my eFX Legend on there for some pictures later, but this is currently the Dagobah cave variant of Vader.

Second order of business, my son wants me to dress up with him to trick or treat. Do I go as Obi-Wan or Luke Bespin?

Recently picked up four vintage NOS balance pipes, still in the box. Not the ones anyone here wants, but fit right in with my other Rolls Royce ephemera collection.

Itty bitty balance pipes in comparison.
