Teecrooz’s Prop Collection: Updated: 22nd of December, 2023

How long have you been collecting for?

I’ve had Star Wars items ever since I can remember. The actual collecting began later, around 1995. My first props that I saw were Parks Sabers in action figure or sci-fi magazines around that time.

I was able to pick up two of those so far as a reminder of where it started. I really wish I could find this model of the Shadow saber somewhere.

After that I saw the Icons sabers in Jawa Trader and bought those. Some unlicensed items from Larbel, J&E, and DH. Then the MR sabers came along and I had most of those. Still have a quite a few in storage that I will get around to selling eventually. During MR times I was part of some bootleg runs, bought from Roman, Parks, And Starkiller. It was about 2010 that I really started buying more found items and lineage items and it s ow allied from there.

Finally gave this guy a much needed rinsing. It’s amazing how much soot is in these things.

Then I blackened the little do-dads that go around the front (forgot what they were called), and cut my scope to fit. Put in the droid corner for now until I get an eye piece for it.

Ah yes, I remember these well. I purchased the Shadow and the Alliance back in 1996 as well a custom saber Jeff made me. I also got Jeff's first rendition of Obi Wan's TPM saber just before TPM premiered. I too bought all three Icons sabers as well as Larbel's, J&E's Luke ROTJ saber. I miss those days. I miss those sabers.

Well, I joined the group of people making mods to their Sideshow Grogu. Hardest part was deciding to actually chop him up.

I used 3/4 inch loc line for the neck and smaller coolant line for the arms. I bought armature wire and 1 inch green shrink tubing but decided not to use it.

Small coolant line (I purchased 2 sets of 2 and have plenty left over): VNDEFUL 2Pcs Round Nozzle 1/4PT Flexible Oil Coolant Pipe Hose - - Amazon.com

Large loc line (I purchase 4 sets when I was thinking about using this for arms and legs also): Pet Supplies : Aquarium Water Pump Supplies : Loc-Line 3/4 inch Ball Socket Flexible Tube 6 inch : Amazon.com

The neck tubing was friction fit into the head. I used a forstner bit to drill out the head hole and inserted the tubing. I probably have a good 6-8 inches of tubing in the body also. It goes all the way down into the cavity. It and the arm tubing are held in place in the body with expanding foam.

Arm removal and smaller loc line glued in place. Links can be added or removed to get to the desired length. I have extra line looped around the neck line to give the foam more to grab onto.

I did trim a little bit more off the shoulders but wanted to keep the body shape for the clothing.

The arms were slightly lower in the shoulders than I wanted. Good thing about expanding foam is I added support after it cured to raise them. I didn’t take a picture of that.

At this point I needed to remove a few links to shorted the arms.

Here is where I’m at right now:

I will go back and trim in front of the neck so he will look down a bit more. I also trimmed the square end of the bottom of the zipper. Just looked off to me sticking out so much.
