TDK Joker Henchmen Mask inquiry

I've just been watching the 6-minute IMAX preview of the bank robbery, and it got me to wondering.

Are the masks that the henchmen wear based off found items, such as masks of presidents, or are they totally custom-built? Or perhaps modified masks?

Has anyone come across any masks that might be suitable as a base, either by itself or with a minimum of modification?

i was thinking about sculpting one or two of them, but i havent looked around to see if they are found items yet or not. I would guess not.

If you're looking for clear reference the new Movie Masters action figures all come with different masks. They're about 2"-2 1/2" tall or so and you can see them clearly on the front of the boxes.
