OK bit more work on the head...probably still more to do but until the actual fur goes on, (instead of an old blanket), it will do

Should have an update on the body pretty soon...
 
With that blanket it looks like the Taun Taun is wearing a bad toupee. The painting looks great. This is going to be so awesome.
 
So the main work on the body is finished. Loads of PU foam bagged and poured around the wooden frame, sawn and carved to realise the basic shape, plaster to smooth out the final form and mould in some muscle definition and a final coat of Chop strand and surface tissue fibre glass to seal and strengthen

Absolutely incredible! I did a Taun/rider costume years ago and this makes me want to pull it down from storage :)
