Tamiya matt varnish?

I've always used Humbrol enamels up to now, and recently I've started to switch to Tamiya acrylics. I can't seem to find a matt varnish though. I know the gloss varnish is X-22, but does anyone know what the matt is?

Thanks in advance guys!

Model Master Clear acrylic works pretty well... its pretty tough too... holds up to alot of handling...

Thanks for the reply guys!

I actually have a couple of jars of flat base (X-21) but I thought it was just a primer. It looks an off-white colour through the jar. Didn't actually open it yet though.
Not sure what Future is, isn't that a floor polish or something? I think it goes by another name on this side of the pond.

As for the Model Master line, I'm not sure about the availability over here... I don't recall ever seeing it anyway.

I have a Halcyon Nostromo due a final sealing coat very shortly, then it's on to the Moebius Seaview!

You have to mix it at about a 5:1 ratio. 5 parts Future. It's a floor wax but used a lot for models. It's great to lay spray down before you put decals on.

My friend swears by it!

I got this quote from FineScaleModelers:
Future does produce a glossy finish so many modelers will introduce a flattening material or only use it as a pre-decal sealer. If you wish to use flattened Future as a final coat here are a couple of suggested ratios of Tamiya flat base for different effects:
1 part flat base to 3 parts Future = very flat
1 part flat base to 10 parts Future = flat
1 part flat base to 15 parts Future = satin
If you get too much of anybody's flat base on the surface of your model you run the risk of making it all go white. No thinning is required just make sure it is well mixed.

Future is the wave of.... well, the future, I guess. :lol

Gives a nice gloss finish for decaling, sprays right from the airbrush, and doesn't even smell bad.

I've never tried mixing it with the X-21 flat base before, I'm going to have to try that out!
