btw: how did you make the barrels? On a lathe?

I used alloy tube for the barrels and I cut the seam lines by slowly and gently turning the tube on my bandsaw

Getting pretty close to the assembly stage of the plasma rifle, so I'm working on the "working" components and getting the internal structure right so the parts of gun will connect properly.

I have got the primary parts connecting now, the next and final part of the biuld will be getting everything to fit snugly together, then clean and polish it all, stay tuned for the final reveal.
