I second that, this is definitely a go to thread when I log onto the RPF, thanks Jamie!!!

Wow! I vote for making the barrels the same length. Can't wait to see what else you do with the rifle! Oh, colour me interested in the 1/6th Endo Rifle too.

btw: how did you make the barrels? On a lathe?

I used alloy tube for the barrels and I cut the seam lines by slowly and gently turning the tube on my bandsaw

great stuff, fella. Jaw dropping and inspiring. Can't wait to see the finished result but am enjoying all the updates along the way. thanks for sharing.

Unbelievable mate.
Your inventiveness rewrites the rulebook and I look forward to seeing it all together with the Endo and base.

Inspiring!

Oh My! that rifle is amazing, but the video really brings it home! Oh, and at the end of the video, there is a photo of a guy (you?) wearing FLAMING WINGS. Yes, Flaming Wings! were you actually wearing those, or is that a bit of forced perspective?

THere is no adjative to properly address the the mind blowing awsomeness of this thread. Will you create SkyNet next? No, Seriously, My mind went "POOF!" it's blown.

The photo is of my son, it's done with a fire paint technique with an open aperture camera, here are a couple more to give you the idea, looks dangerous but it's not.....
