Hi all,

I figured I would share this project at it's present stage before its fully finished and shipped off to its owner. Its a replica of the sawn-off 1887 winchester lever-action shotgun as seen in Terminator 2.

Looks good! They used the wide loop so he can do the flip reload in the bike scenes. He first gets it and it has the standard handle and most of the movie its the stanard handle

The reason why the movie version handle is so much larger is because Schwarzenegger could not get his hand into the standard size one, so they had to modify.

Edit: Oh, you were talking about the wooden stock on the handle, it does seem a little long.

Yeah, the receiver section also looks a little bit big,the whole rear looks like it needs shrinking down a tad in scale imo.

Some ref shots:

...There's always a rivet counter.:rolleyes

:lol I can assure you i am not a rivet counter.

It was just the size that first stood out the most to me as being off compared to the reference shots.

Im not knocking your work,i was just putting it out there incase you may have wanted the rework it some more so it looks more like the movie version.

Never gave it much thought when watching the movie, but that is one sick ass shotgun! Looks good, but I would have to agree with onrina903. The sizing seems off. Possibly just the picture, but something is weird about it *scratches head*

The first thing I noticed was that the angle was off from the receiver to the barrel. It should be more of a smooth angled transition, not as accute as in the provided photos of the WIP.

But I do see a scale difference from barrel to receiver too.
