T1 and T2 Endoskeleton Research Thread

Looking for reference on confirmed screen used Endo rifles. I currently know of this one:

But what about this one? Is this screen used?

If anyone has reference for anything that is actually T2 production made or screen used, I'd love to see it. I'm not interested in T2:3D or later stuff or stuff made for the Universal Ride or display endoskeletons - those rifles are different, with very different details.

Over the last week, while being sick on and off, I've been working on perfecting the laellee 3D model we commissioned of the T2 endo rifle. There were a few things off on the model because we used different reference and not just a single rifle - my fault - and some of the fan stuff is not accurate, so I changed those and added new accurate screws, then I need to fix the base of the upper barrel and then I can start tweaking things into the shape of 2 different versions I have found - 1 confirmed screen used and 1 unconfirmed rifle.

The confirmed one is the one seen in the first endo scene of the movie where it crushes down on a child's skull. That rifle is different than anything else I've seen - it is a lot wider and has a curved top, whereas the regular ones are flat.

Working on the side plate. Still separate. Since I cannot find thickness measurements, it's making things a little difficult, so I'll have to eye it. Not going for über accuracy, as there is so little reference from the movie and the Browning M2 50 Cal images I've found are all different, and since I don't know which particular one was used in the movie... I'll just add the details I feel look good.

In another scene though, they have a basic M2... and it doesn't have the raised rear plate on the frame... so I may remove that from my model later. I found that reference after I had already added it.

I took a mental break from working on my terminator... (somehow i simultaneously managed go from 0 terminator stuff to buying too many busts+ an arm. Gotta figure out where to put all of them and why I did this, haha) I started to get an itch again and decided to check this thread- and it didnt dissppoint on all the updates since last time.

.... and WOW, Quartz what great work! Reading this thread and seeing the stufff you guys do with the files/scanning/ hyper attention to detail stays being so awesome.

Here is where I am with pretty much my first print and experience with 3d printing. (FDM 1:1)
I removed the pistons for the legs and have the rest being post-processed thats why they're missing & not attached

How much can he bench? Looks great so far!

Is there a set of files that is considered the most accurate? I'd like, for now, just to print an arm to make the Cyberdyne T2 arm display.

Worked a little more on the RSB-80. It's modeled right side up for now, so it is easier to figure out the reference from the Browning M2 50 Cal reference. Once I've finished the main gun, I will turn it upside down and do the added wider barrel with the bowl down near the main gun.

I think I'll try and add the screws to the side panel next.

thanks!, i would like to know this too. Body wise, i liked this one the best from th few I saw , though i'll post pics when done for critique

Unsure of accurate, but you could get one of Skynet2029's files on sale and just print the lower arm from that.

Many of the free arm files floating around are the same files, even when uploaded by different users. And many of the paid ones are just as inaccurate as the free ones.

BTW does anyone have dimensions for the skull? I tried Googling and found all kind of measurements. I did find one from Propstore of a real one and the one I printed is around those dimensions. It looks too wide to me though.

Well, the wrong look can occur if the model isn't too accurate. For prints I would go with a from top of head to bottom of jaw measurement.

Regarding the RBS-80. Worked a little more on it today. Missing a small hole in the side plate, but otherwise it looks like it is done. The reference I have shows the 3 screws I added and then two weird looking screws in the two top holes on either side of the rounded indent. If anyone has reference showing screws in the other holes I'd love to see it. Would also love to see a reference shot of the rifle from the bottom.

Will work some more on the main frame of the rifle, before fusing the side plate to it.
