That's quite a comparison.

I was gonna hold off showing this until later, but might as well show it.

From left to right - Orthographic view and to scale:
DeltaDesignRus M1 Thai copy - swpropmaker M1 - TMG scan of LFS (with cutout and scaled DeltaDesignRus M1 copy upper teeth) - Foam Skull

You can clearly tell the droop on the left side of the skull (right in picture) of the T2:3D style skull. Which I tried to correct on my LFS scan that I resized and tried to match to the foam skull.
(don't mind the older style re-sculpted upper teeth on the re-scaled one... I just didn't bother taking a similar picture with the new teeth).

Picture of the day.

As you can see, material was added to the bottom of it to remove the recessed gap between the third and second spine piece as well as making the bottom flat. That is not accurate.

If I ever get access to a 3D scan of an original spine I will post it here.

Spine 3.

Next is probably fingers... but it may take a while. Still not feeling too good.

Orthographic view of the day.

The LFS kit has the same set for both hands. Haven't checked if it is that way on the originals or they are mirrored. Sorry for the rough scans. I just did them quickly, without much worry, because I was planning to 3D model them myself, but we needed fingers for a project, so I just scanned the LFS ones for that. I hope you can make out the shapes. The details may be a little hard to see, but this is more a shape and size exercise rather than to show every single little detail.

Fingers.

Thanks man. When I feel better I'll start finishing the scaled Vader stuff and then get back to modeling the T2 fingers.

I think I've run into the limits of my abilities with the knee models, so may have to hire someone to do them over. I'll see.

There have been no luck sourcing that rectangular piece on the front of the chest, or better, more accurate castings or scans of the spine and neck models, but I have reached out to so many... still hoping something comes of it... but we'll see.

And hopefully the last greeblies in the temple inserts can be found. DeltaDesignRus has identified so many of the unknown ones. We just need I.D. on the last ones.

Still need to finish the feet and the hand pistons...

And... get the skull completed somehow.

Though... with the health issues, I'm feeling like I'm running out of energy.

Well, I felt a little better today. Not 100%, but I fixed all but 1 of the scaled Vader stuff. The last thing will take a little while to fix.

Really need to get the rest of the endo re-scanned. But Shining 3D still haven't figured out what's causing the memory issue error. New scanners have arrived on the market that seems a lot better than the Einstar... wonder if it would be worth it to upgrade... though... don't have the funds for it.

Oh, WOW. That's looking great.

You should add back in the grooved detail on the side that is missing on replicas.

I'll find a better picture of it. But it is the 4 squares on the part where the rear upper arm piston connects to.

I automatically remeshed the elbow parts and cleaned up the surfaces.

Thank you TMG.

Project shapes onto a simple, symmetrical topology.
Project the shape in further subdivisions.
Make it symmetrical by averaging the left and right coordinates.
I really need to match the points more precisely, but
But right now, I'm roughly matching the points.
Distortions are to be corrected by point editing.
Panel lines, etc. will be added at the end.
