T1 and T2 Endoskeleton Research Thread

Nice pics from Propstore. That’s what I love most about them. When pieces come up for auction we get really good references from them. Those pics of the knee are invaluable. Thanks Propstore and Carsten for supplying them. ;)

If there’s any warping on the finger parts I’m guessing it’s because the forearms and hands on some (all?) we’re made of rubber. I’m not sure if we talked about that earlier?

Yes. I applaud Propstore for being cool with this. They are a great source of reference and deserve all the credit for their willingness to share it with people who ask. I wish I had been smart and asked for additional pictures of the blown up T1 skull when it was up for auction.

At the "rounded" ends of each individual segment on each finger.

I have checked all the endoarms and hands I've found uploaded to Thingiverse and elsewhere and most don't even have the beveling and the ones that do don't have the differing beveling.
This part?

Working on the left knee today. Lots of small tinkering to get the shapes right. Started adding details seen in the Propstore knee that are not on the LFS casting.

Looks cool, but also way too advanced for me yet.

Got to a point where I could show a rework and groove test. Am soon done with all the grooves and details on the horizontal part. Then I have to do all the ones on the vertical part.

Knee comparison when scaled to Propstore measurements. It's quite a bit larger than the LFS knee. When placed on top of each other the vertical part is nearly as wide as the small round extensions at the center hole.

I have this picture listed as T4, but did I label it wrong? To me it kinda looks like the endoskeleton on display in Tokyo, but it was sold as a T3 endo. Title description say: T4 - Laura Elliot - moldmaker.
