Syrus54 - IronMan Page

Re: Syrus54 - Iron Man Page - Updated 09/17/2013

Indeed. Good luck with the move bud!

Thanks. And since it doesn't get that cold there, I don't have to worry about meeting the temperature required for resining. As where here in Missouri, It it almost impossible to resin between October and April. And trust me, you don't wanna resin or bondo anything in the cold. Found out the hard way with bondo :/

It was so cold that I couldn't get the bondo to spread. It also was too cold for it to react outside, so I had to bring it inside to harden. Wasn't a fun week at all.

for some reason I cant download any of the comic stuff mark 1,2 or 3 or the warmachine
do you know why that might be?

I havenet made any .PDOs of thoses suits. I wont until theyre finished, and i can finish anything cuz im always working on SO MUCH at a time, im close to 500 incomplete models, so its extremely difficult to get anything done.

Im just 1 man... unfotunately....

That's a list I'd want to see :D.

500 models though, incomplete or not, is stunning.

Re: Syrus54 - Iron Man Page - Updated 09/17/2013

Okay, stupid question... How would I go about scaling it to fit me (6'3", 215 pounds, size 12 shoes)?

First off, it's not a stupid question.

Second, you're gonna have to do the trial and error way like we all did. You can thank those that stole his files for that.

As I posted before, try using PepViewer for Cameo to print out the file. It's pep viewer, but for those that have a cameo paper cutting machine. But this version has a feature allowing you to scale it DOWN, but down ONLY. You don't need a paper cutting machine to use this version's print function, and you don't need to pay for the full version to be able to print it out.

Hope it helps!

Thanks man. I'm REALLY glad you like it. You did a good job modeling that puppy.

Dreaming of the day I pep your mk 5 "helmey"! :lol

Here's some better pics, also fully completed. The pic with it on my head is with the side you don't see still missing. But, done now:

Some comparative shots between it and my JTM helmet:

Gotta admit, I like them both equally. :D

Got some fiberglassing going on the helmet.

I removed a little piece at the chin, and so far, I can wiggle my head in!!! I'll be wicked stoked if I don't have to chop this thing up to wear it!

Default size is the 3" Arc Reactor Chest Piece. That probably doesnt help, though. But that's how it's Scaled...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, Here's something for you all to DROOL :eek over, What do you think?
a6k2.png

It's got the Mark 6 Forearm Missiles, The Wrist Laser, and the Neck Bullets & Missiles.
If I had a 3d printer, I'd be WEARING THIS RIGHT NOW ! ! !

Hey bud, you gotta just try a size and see how close it is. For 6' 1" I'd try 20 percent increase. Not saying that's the one for you, but the helmet I did for the Gemini was 20% increase. I'm 5" 11", and the lid is good size for me.

Hope it helps!

Re: Syrus54 - Iron Man Page - Updated 10/04/2013

ohhhh men i see
Wel i'm going to build the cheste piece in the 20% increase....
Hope it helps....
I just have the helmet so i really hope it can fit lol
Thanks a lot man!!!

Re: Syrus54 - Iron Man Page - Updated 10/04/2013

...many parts are overlapping...

If you tell me which parts, and which sizes those are, I'll look into fixing that.

Also, right now, I'm preparing the Mark 6, v2 suit for Pepping.

Stay tuned to the .ZIP file for those .PDOs when they come available.
