Supernatural Mjolnir

I haven't seen anyone build the hammer from Supernatural, so I thought I'd show off mine here. I haven't actually seen the show (though I'm told that I should). A guy saw some of my other hammers and had me build a replica of the Supernatural Mjolnir. The thing I'm not sure about is the coloring of the leather on the handle. I think the one in the show might be darker. What do you folks think?

Okay, that's weird. I've never seen this show, but that design is ripped directly from Marvel's Mjolnir. The original Norse Mjolnir looks nothing like that. The rod+block design is uniquely Marvel's.

Yup. That's based entirely on Marvel's design.

The show is produced by Warner Brothers and the Supernatural comics by D.C... so no official Disney/Marvel ties. Guess you would just consider it an "homage" prop.

The Norse Mjolnir is slightly more traditional, and shaped almost like an axe.

Also, the activation index from Halo is based on this shape.

The symbol engraved in the center of the Supernatural Mjolnir is indeed the Norse version.
