I'll be starting them next week.. and The next con that I will be going to is going to be the one in Las Vegas March 8-10 2013... this one is going to be HUGE so we are saving big starting now.. We are hitting this one big time.. getting all the photo ops.. and maybe even a booth with a bunch of EMFs in the diff styles seen on the show. Will see how that part pans out.

YA, from what I see just the GOLD & SILVER passes and some of the photo ops are sold out. Gen admin is still $109 for the 3 day pass and rooms are $115 a night.

be aesome to have a altered pajama bottoms with trap bottom snaps..and once unbuttoned you have a false bottom that had a screen printed pic of the weapons on her butt..lol, actually be a cute idea...heard there were people even dressed as a large EMF..so would fit right in. :lol

Just starting in on my EMF project. Thank you everyone who's posted the great ref. photos. I've been thinking I'd use a homebuilt arduino as the guts to run the sounds and lights. This would allow it to have more than one mode. It could have a functional EMF reading mode and a demo or stage mode that fakes the readings for show. This would also allow a few of the various switches and POTs on the prop to actually function in a simple way.
Here's a basic arduino EMF that uses a bar of LEDs similar to what Sam & Dean have.

Supernatural EMF detector project page started
I've gone and compiled every high resolution close up of an EMF used in Supernatural I could find, up to season 6 (I'm not caught up on the show yet). I did find some views that I don't think I've seen yet in this thread so I thought I'd share.
The rest that I have are over on my project page on my blog along with some images of the other EMF detectors used by other hunters in the show.
I'm going be sharing a full parts list there as I discover them, with luck I'll have some time this weekend to dig up some suppliers and work on some of the programming for the guts.

Great pics...really shows the details very well. Glad to see there's now 2 people working on these. I'd gladly help you look for parts for you or Dean wanna be...but all the gizmo and gadgets are foreign to me...you talk guns or knives..I can usually just spot that stuff very easy, I can see or tell what's missing with projects like this, but aint got a clue on what the parts would be...glad you guys do. Good luck to you both.
