Superman, Batman, Spidey Needed *UPDATE!*

Hi guys -

I'm looking to see if we have members with screen-accurate (or pretty close, for this need) costumes for Superman (Reeve), Batman (Begins or TDK), Spiderman (Maquire) and Iron Man (Downey) for a commercial I'm directing. If you're in the Southern California area, let me know; could be fun! Details for qualified applicants only, I'm afraid... you know how these things are :)

Hey Mike,

I just got an accurate reeve suit and kind of look the part - if you need someone to fly out let me know! :)

Do you need the costume or person costuming in it too ?

Depends - if the owner looks the part in a classic, iconic way, that's great, otherwise we need to fill them with new bodies. Either way, there's obviously a budget for supervised use/rental of the costume on set.

Hey Mike,

If ya can't find your superheroes, I can be your galactic hero. I (Chewie) can't fly faster than a speeding bullet, or spin a web any size...but I can pull people's arms outta their sockets. :D

Hi Mike,

I'm posting a few older shots of me as Superman below. I have an upgraded supersuit done to Chris King's specs - accurate pattern and blue material (not bright royal blue), with a sewn-in S symbol. Much nicer than the one seen below. I'm four years older now than in these pics, and my hair's long enough for Reeve-style now. Doing Superman for Halloween again this year, you see, and I wanted to do it up right. If you don't get any other bites for this project and you think you could leverage your productions rental/talent budget into a cheap plane ticket instead, you can use me and the new suit for free. I'd love to be a part of your commercial! Of course, I wish you luck finding someone the easier local way first... Let me know if you'd like updated pictures or shots of the new suit though!

Well you do it proud, Doug... can you put on another 40 lbs. of muscle in a few weeks? :cool For this particular commercial, Supes has to be big - nearly comic-book big...

Muscle suit? Who said muscle suit?!? :confused

Looks like we'll accept applicants from anywhere in the continental US now :) Basically a one-day shoot. We'll fly you to LA, put you up, etc.

Have you thought about Mike O'Hearn? He may be busy with American Gladiator right now, but I'd contact his agent if I were you.

Check out this link for some pics of him in costume. I doubt the costume belongs to him, but he may know where to get a hold of it for your spot. The Batman actor looks decent too.

Mike,

If you check over at the LOH, there's a guy named Danny, screen name Kalelkara. He's built like the proverbial brick outhouse. The vein in his bicep is bigger than my whole bicep. So much so, you can see it through the spandex. He definitely looks the part.

Hi, Spiderstang here, reporting for duty! Go to my website; heros4parties.com and you may see what you're looking for. My Spider-man suit was made by spidertim and is really nice. I was featured in an on going documentry about Stan Lee. You can see the part I'm in on youtube. It was filmed at the Golden Apple in Hollywood during a art show featuring Stan Lee character done by other artist. You may also want to take a look at our Batman Begins, Teen Titan Robin, Silver Surfer, Storm, Wolverine, Iron Man and Green Goblin.
I'm ready for my close-up;-) lol
