Superior Spiderman Lenses

As much as i hate the new direction and identity of spidey in "Superior Spiderman", I have to admit i love the revised look. Especially the lenses!!
I sculpted these using lenses from pairs of sunglasses as a base and jewellers wax on top of that. I then made molds and cast them in clear epoxy resin and placed them over wire mesh painted "Ghost Gum" white.
I must make some improvements and sculpt new frames, but this is enough for today.
Let me know what you think of my first attempt.

I agree with you on your opinion on what happened to Spider-man but with that said these lenses are awesome! Can we get a shot of how they look on someone?

That's really impressive. I thought it would be quite a bit longer before someone did a credible pass at these.

How is visibility through the clear resin?

My only thought is that they might be one or two millimeters thick... But I've only seen a few promo images (not a fan of this story line, either).

I will say that you wouldn't be able to read any news papers from about 4 feet away, but you can totally see where you are going and what's what with them on. I'll upload pics of me wearing them soon.
