Superbad "McLovin" ID

Here is the McLovin ID I whipped up.

Funny how it says "McLovin" but he signs it "McLoving"

Hell yes...! Does anyone here know a way to print this on a proper plastic or laminate ID card? Love it!!

I just got back from the movie and the signature says "McLovin" in the film. Just FYI...

Also, it looked like at one point it was laminated card stock and not plastic.

Ah the dilemma. In the trailers, it was McLoving--the "actual" prop was signed McLoving, but in the film it was corrected. What to do...

Actually, technically they are both correct. The ID appears both ways in the movie.

One thing that is wrong is the red 'ORGAN DONOR' text, that's never seen in the film (not sure where it came from, actually).

In the trailer, we see the signature as 'McLoving'. The first image is that same scene in the movie. You can see it's now 'McLovin'. Also note, the back of the ID is blank.

The Second image shows the lady in the liquor store looking the ID. Here you can see the signature is back to McLoving. Also note, no 'ORGAN DONOR' text in the lower-right corner. And, in the last image the cop is holding the ID you can barely make out that there is something on the back of it (a 'magnetic strip' and a few lines of text).

You can also see in some scenes it's just a laminated piece of paper (you can see the clear laminate sticking out around the borders), and other scenes (like the close-ups) it's made like a real ID or credit card with no clear border... (You can see the clear-edged version very well in the trailer.)

I'll tell ya exactly where it came from; I found a reference page for the real Hawaii ID, and that corner is where it goes. ("hawaiian organ donor" line in the flick.)
It'll be a great way (among others) to tell who used my graphic, and if they try to sell them on ebay ;)

Ahh yes, I see that now... I guess if I had bothered to look up a real HI license, I'd have seen that. :rolleyes

Good call on identifying your paper-prop though... I love some of the ones on eBay where the signature isn't even close to what was used in the movie...

Anyone here live in HI? If there's no personal data on the back of the license, we could probably scan that for the back of the card... That might be all they used for the movie...

I'm running a little slow on this one, but I finally have something to contribute here!

BLAM!!!

Hope this helps out. I haven't got a great shot of it yet (should be white, but the flash was obscuring the info), but this should answer any questions you may have.;) Let me know if someone needs this in a bigger size.
