You are not actually editing the listing. The original first post of the thread stays as is and can only be edited by the thread owner. What is happening is that the first post of each new page is treated as a Junkyard formatted post. If you change the number of posts per page, you post will no longer be the first on a new page and you will see the actual original contents of your post. It is a known bug and we have alerted the programmer.
