sub zero sword help

I am currently making a sub zero ice sword and Im not sure how to paint it to look like ice.

I plan to use an assortment of blue and white, but would really appreciate any advice or help in getting that ice look.
Im still in the finishing stage prior to painting and I need to start thinking about how I get that ice look.
Any advice or help greatly appreciated.

Molding that and casting it in clear would look pretty special. It could pass for ice.

Just finished painting it, I did the best I could and I think it turned out Ok
