A Vektor is a real gun, not a prop. So it seems confusing to ask for a "stunt" Vektor. A stunt Fifth Element hand gun (based on a Vektor) would make more sense.
Then again, I suppose its possible an unaltered Vektor was perhaps used in some film...
The little CP1 pistol that Vektor made a few years back got recalled shortly thereafter, as it would fire when dropped, bumped, or looked at cross-eyed.
Could be that someone made an airsoft version, or dipped a real one in silicon, but I haven't seen one.
IIRC there were a few seen on Galactica from time to time.
Yeah, that's what I was referring to. Given the amount of sci-fi shows that have used the Vektor CP-1 or used it as the basis for a sci-fi gun buildup, I was wondering if resin casts had made their way to this side of the fandom.
There are only 2 different airsoft types I've seen. The type that Birdie has posted (which I've just ordered 2 of and another with a silver slide, safety, and mag release. I think the one Birdie has posted is much more beautiful and more accurate to the original as well as to the one used in BSG, Firefly, and Fifth Element. Hope this helps!
Metal barrel, dummy chamber, opened up the ejection port, and a bunch of weight in the grip.
I'm modifying the mag base area to look like a magazine and NOT a battery pack!
The Dobson collection as of now:
The cheaper model that I used is the same one Birdie first pointed me to.
It was perfect for the display piece I wanted it for.
The slide can even be racked!
