Stunt Vader ANH

I wanted to share this one of a kind commission from Mike Warren.

I have trooped more than 40 times as Vader and could really use some more peripheral vision.

He and I discussed the possibilities and he made it all happen. The cheek front and sides are perspex with light gunmetal brushstrokes.

Awesome! I have been thinking about doing this after seeing one of the stunt helmets from ESB on a museum tour a couple of years ago.

Wow. That blends in so well on the outside. Can't even tell like the screen used stunts.

I know your pain on zero peripheral vision. I ran into a trash can yesterday at Akron con. Was walking like it didn't exist and it was just in my path

No, that’s why it is one of a kind![emoji16]. The ESB stunt was my inspiration, but I didn’t need the whole lower jaw/neck section to be perspex for my purposes.

Woah, never seen that done before. That's pretty innovative. I just looked up the ESB stunt helmet. I didn't know it had that. I wish you could seamlessly do that for ESB. At least the weathering on ANH conceals it

That is genius using the brush strokes to your advantage do you think a dust coated ESB would work?

Also why did you not do the neck? I know you said you didn't need it for your purposes but you can't look down in a Vader helmet did you adjust the height with foam or something?

Honestly the expense would have gone up quite a bit.
