Studio Scale TIE Fighter

Coinprop, check out the main thread about building the TIE, called, not surprisingly, Building the TIE Fighter.
Has anybody heard from Steve? I have emailed and PM him but no reply yet. Still waiting for the TIE kit that I ordered from him over a year ago. Don't get me wrong, I know he is in the military and was in Iraq for a while, but I only wish he would have told me that it was going to be more than 14 months in order to get a kit. Yes, 14 months I've been waiting. So far, no Tie kit has arrived at my doorstep. I placed my order back in june 2004. His last message said that it was on the table. This was two months ago. But while every one else gets there kits, I don't. I like what I've seen of Steve's kit and I really want one. Buy I really don't understand why it's taking this long. I really don't.

Does anyone know if Steve is back yet? He was supposed to have priority mailed my Tie Fighter over Three weeks ago. :confused

I have returned. I have gotten back with everyone I think.
KK got a email for you going out tonight about 3PO.
Ryan and myself have been extremely busy. You can imagine with the relief efforts in the South my duty time doubled and a new job for Ryan (congrats.) (who I tell you is the hardest working man in resin. )
I am finishing the new wing struts for the TIE Hero so hang in there if youÂ’re waiting.
Pass it on The TIE kit both versions is soon at a end :cry . So if you really want one or know someone who does email me and we can work something out before I retire/destroy the molds.
I am getting out of the Studio Scale "Star Wars" kit business. IÂ’ve focused my attention in the legit professional business end of studio scale modeling as a builder / consultant for a well known replica prop company working project to project. (I hope)
If I owe you anything DO NOT fear. I will take care of you as I always have. Some have waited a bit longer than others sad to say.
Ryan and I are working on a couple studio scale non Star Wars items for a November release we will release pics when they get closer to completion.
Thanks all for your support and those that reached the end of your rope I am truly sorry. I hope I have at least taken care of those that have waited the longest and will continue to do so until it is at an end. After 15 months of waiting, my Tie kit appeared on my doorstep this very today.
YAHOO. The wait has come to an end, and the wait was well worth it. This is a very impressive kit. Especially the size. It's bigger than I thought it would be.
