REL you shold really contact them aobut using your stuff as the master for theirs... lot of research and effort has already been spent... and its pretty darn good... You could maybe possibly get paid ;)

Very sad to hear that, as I was hoping to pick one up as well. Looking forward to watching the builds of the small number of folks lucky enough to be in on this project.
 
I can only echo the disappointment of others. :cry

I do hope that we'll be able to continue watching the build, even though it won't be offered as a kit. It's been quite inspiring and exciting to see the SS Slave 1 group piece together this puzzle.

Will you by any chance be offering finished models?

Can't a few guy's split up the work? I mean there's many guy's who can join to make this possible, it would be a real shame to have done all this work.

That's too bad :cry, but I understand how real life can get in the way of these things. I'll echo the others' sentiments - please continue the build up thread, you're work on this has been inspiring.

Nah, life comes first, baw. If you ever decide to continue this fantastic build and kit it at least you know we'll be there to buy one!

I reaaly hope you find one way or another to continue this proyect. It has such an amazing quality and besides that is one of my most loved designs from ESB. I mean... still remember the exitement when I bought the MPC kit. I just LOVE the Slave 1


Please, think about it twice if possible, or find a way to collaborate with other talented guys. Heck even if the kit ends up costing $600, I'm in!

I agree with the others. It's a shame, but life does come first. The pics so far have been great.

So is EFX seriously looking to produce one? I'm definitely picking up their X-wing if it comes out.

Rel said he would bring what he had out when he visits SOCAL soon.
We plan on having lunch and discussing it. If its reasobaly feasible to do, we will take a stab at it.

Currently, Im getting ready to do the MARK VII Viper, which for those of you dont know, REL has been putting the finishing touches on.

its gonna ROCK! Between he and Moe, this will be the ULTIMATE VIPER in this scale of this ship!

Im also doing the 1:1 stasis, and sending out a few orders of stuff from my page.

After that, Im transitioning to a new job, and will go back to being a MODEL BUILDER, vice model producer. Unless the S1 kit is doable, or Moe ever finishes his Falcon Kit. Yes. You read right.

EFX is doing a SLAVE 1. Its sure to be wonderful. However, many folks like to BUILD their own. Some of you might even want to build an EPISODE 1 Version. You can do that with a kit. Cand do it with a collectible model. Well,...ya could but ???
