Studio Scale Landspeeder project

I would LOOOVE to have some of those 3D files .... whose hand can I slap some cash into? Great work though, screw the promised jet pack, I'll take a landspeeder!
 
The file situation is a beautiful thing politically - I didn't do the work so I can't give them out! And the fella wants to stay anonymous, so it's a dead end, sorry. Even I don't have them (sniff) - it's a relief.

We might do a 1/24th too? Down the road...
 
I like the idea of one this well done in 1/24th scale. Hope you do it. Much more manageable in that size, cheaper, and in scale with some of the other vehicles.

That rear 3/4 view of the landspeeder sure shows what a nice solid design that is. That's one thing I think was best about the first three movies - the designs were simple and timeless.

I got to see this in person today. I almost fell over when I saw how huge it was. Unbelievably beautiful work of art in progress. Jason is knocking this out of the park!!! It's going to be an outstanding piece for sure!! The engine details are spectacular (as is all the construction so far). Hard to describe just how cool it is. Thanks again Jason!!!
 
He was pretty excited - it just fired me up MORE! LOL.

I have some smooth drywall in my kitchen in place of that crumbling plaster!! I also just ordered over $3k in stove/dishwasher/range hood/houseofantiquehardware.com stuff... so to keep my mind from freaking at all the money I just laid out, I worked on some Landspeeder ;)

I dunno what's hotter - that new 17,000BTU burner (use that wok as Asia intended!) or this Landspeeder. Good lord, it's starting to look so flipping cool!!
 
Man that does look HOT! The speeder not the heater.......

All the parts are coming up great, All that efforts well worth it.

I still don't know what eh-ing up is, but thanks! It's one heck of a model, and I'm deep into refining it/getting it cast worthy. It's big enough for cats and small dogs!
