OOooKIE DOKIE.
Well now, we see where your "HEAD" is at. "HAND-Solo." :love

Mike, this is great news.. I'm glad you and Coby are working on this together.... :) :D

YEAH.. my DS Viper will soon be in my hands....

Oh yeah, a while ago you mentioned that Tom gave you new or updated coloring instructions, what do they look like or is it the same as the original Viper? It's buried somewhere in the fleets forums but I'm not sure where but could of swore you mentioned it after you posted the picture of the one you painted up. Just curious. :) I'll give you a call later if you don't mind.

This kind of advice needs to be taken. Unfortunately what happened was, Spcglider, did not insure or get tracking, I don't know why, but that is the way it happened. I always insure every package I ship, and have for years when shipping my artwork all over the place. It's just a rule in my business.
I appreciate all of your words and hope to hear from you again.
Take Care.

The answer is very simple: I have NEVER run into this problem before. In the many years I have been shipping stuff via USPS I have never had a single package lost. Not a single one out of HUNDREDS of packages.

Now, if you'd like an exact run-down of the time-stream that led to the loss of the package, here it is:

Michael asked me to mold his laser cannons.
I said no. LIE.
Michael asked me to mold his laser cannons.
I said no.LIE.
Michael SENT me his laser canons to mold.
I said no. But did it anyway. Thus breaking one of my few persdonal rules.
I decided to just cast the canons and get the job done as quickly as possible so that Michael could ship kits. (including mine)
Then Michael told me that I was also going to mold and cast the canopies.
I said no. But that was only inside my head. The rule had been broken. Time to pay for it.
Michael sent me the canopy original. I told him to send the mold he had made as well.
I modified his original mold to work.
I cast the canons and the canopies.
I boxed them up in seperate small boxes and then packed the small boxes into a larger box with plenty of padding.
Then I started looking for Michael's address.
I found it on his last mail wrapper.
It was written in "Colonial Script" otherwise known as a typeface called "STOP".
I mis-interpreted the "6" in his zip code as a "0". The typeface is confusing.
The package was sent via priority mail. (once again, NEVER a whit of trouble from USPS. If the post-code had been correct, this wouldn't even be an issue.)
The package was mis-placed.
The package was sought.
The package has not yet been found.
Both Michael and I have been working dilligently to recover it. From all possible angles.

And there you have it.

I never had to ask Gordon more than once for his help. And it's scary to think that anyone would believe this CRAP.
I NEVER SENT those parts, being that they were the original parts for casting and molding, without a full understanding between us. THAT IS A LIE.... :angry
I NOW BARELY HAVE THE RIGHT PARTS TO COMPLETE ANOTHER full set because Gordon LOST THEM, but thanks to Cobywan for stepping up to bat once again, they'll get done.
I think alot of people here have held back from just coming out and saying that, because they are trying to be kind, as matter of fact, I know that is why no one has said it yet.
But I will NOT BE MADE A FOOL OF NOR BE LIED UPON, just because Gordon wants to save face.
Thank You to those that has alerted me to this post of his that somehow I managed to miss. It was a lie.
I have spoken.

For those of you paying attention, Michael and I have been talking like adults and have come to conclude the trauma du jour.

He vented a little frustration in bold letters and was misunderstood by some others and myself. I reacted poorly.

I beg your indulgence over terse words shed in your presence. The waters are calmed.

Be well, all.

To be honest...I am tired of this.

The items were sent, molded, cast and sent back. They got lost. Zip codes, or whatever. They were lost. In my opinion too much time was wasted waiting for them to appear. But that is my opinion <one I am entitled too...somewhere it says that I think :) >

I am a paid in full customer, and I want my viper. But I am patient. Very patient. But to listen to excuses and the like, well its not what I want to see or hear. I just want to know that things are on the move and the vipers will be completed and shipped soon.

Whatever issues exist need to be resolved (I think they have) so that this project can move on. (I think it is).

That being said, I would wish (and hope) this thread be kept to the updates, progress and pics of the upcoming Desanto Viper. And personal quips, arguments whatever, be left to pm's and email.

So lets see some viper kit pics..

Oh and what is this info about colors for the DS Viper??????? :)
[/b]
I think we are all in agreement JP. Let's get that Viper going.. :thumbsup :thumbsup I see nothing but good things happening upon delivery to all who ordered and it is most definitely a step in the right direction when that gets completed. :)

Good question too. What about the colors? Are they differing from the before artwork?

I spoke with Mike the other day and asked him. He said that the stripes where just shaped a little different but the colors were the same as the original. It's basically the same as the previously shown one. :)

I too think much time was wasted waiting for the cannons.
(I am the one responsible the outburst because Mike and I were just venting to each other and I pointed out the post that got Mike upset.....Sorry :( ) Claiming responsibility is the only reason why I'm bringing this back up, that being said I'm glad all is well now, and that Cobywan is on the case. We shall have our Vipers soon.. :D

Kewl..good to know... sounds neat.

Thanks for the info Chris.

Re-making the cannons is more of a chore this time, but finally found all the parts for them. I have boxes and boxes of greeblies that I had to sift through to find the few tiny pieces that details the guns. Pics are forthcoming. Then evryone gets their vipers......after Coby casts the parts. :p
