Not off hand, but any of the 1/72 or 1/48 kits should do the trick.
It's a trapzoid shaped piece that sits between the rear stabilizers.
On top of that, there's Romulan BOP parts on the Gazer too! Wild!

For the Macross/Robotech Valkyrie kits, my best guess is that is it one of the non variable kits, because i do not see a split between what is the chestplate/back when in robot form. There were a couple of 1/72 scale kits that were like that, the gerwalk only kits and the super fighter mode only kits. Here is a pic of my Roy gerwalk only kit...if you need more pics of this kit let me know.

I'm going to vac form the nacelles and nosecone out of thick styrene because it'll be easier to scribe and detail than the mdf/bondo master. So I built a vac form machine for $26 using plans from here.

Then bought a 6hp shop vac and the result turned out fantastic.


Here's the bottom of half of one of the nacelle's, 3 more to go.

Now I'll put a layer of 10oz fiberglass on the back side of the styrene to strengthen it for molding.

That dude in the video waited way to long to get the
shop vac turned on almost 5sec!!:lol The thinner the plastic
the faster it cools off it doesn't hold the heat, so you have to
be moving with the thin stuff!! Your better off turning the vacuum on
about a minute or so before your ready. You know this because he had
to use a heat gun with such thin plastic.

I got all the plugs for the engines and nose finished and they'll be vac formed in heavy duty abs plastic so I can use them to make the master patterns for molding. I had to size them down to compensate for the thickness of the plastic, and now I'm very tired.

I've started to do the final detailing on the body.

I think this one is going to be a limited run type thing, so I don't think it's necessary to vac it now.
