He's not scribing the lines, he puts down narrow lines of tape, paints a few coats of primer, peals up the tape, perfect straight lines.

Since the nose was vac formed in styrene I was able to use traditional scribing instead of the primer/tape method.

To strengthen the hollow styrene I filled it up with resin.
