Hi Keith,
your nose is a bit thick from the side and angle is more substantial. Below would be the fix for this. you could just leave it though, looks great.

Ok, i've made the bottom part of the nose more streamlined. I've also fitted the canopy, filled it in, sanded it all to shape, primed the whole nose including the glass and started to polish the glass up again. Next thing to do when the glass is polished is to mask off where the windows should be ready for final painting:

now how do you feel about this modification feels good ehh. now you have a small idea of what I went through to get the shape right on my masters..yours looks much nicer now, capturing the look much better don't ya think?

Yeah, its been one of those jobs thats constantly needed tinkering around with though.

Since taking the pics above i've done more work on it. I've moved that diagonal line on the nose more forward so the line continues on from the canopy glass edge.

good to hear..did not know if that was a fix you wanted to make as it's messing with the contour of the fuselage, Glad ya did though...it , again, makes a difference in overall look...it's just below canopy line...more pics ..let's see

OK, last pics before its finished. Ignore the temporary canopy masking, its just rough so i didn't have to remove the primer from the whole canopy:

one of the nicest treatments of the Studio 2 I've seen..bit of a compromise from the top but the side looks nice. keep in mind that the canopy top glass comes down further than the side glass.. what primer is this you are using...and what color ya gonna be painting the plane....

I know about the top glass being further down than the sides, i just masked the canopy off rough so i could prime the new nose to check for faults.

I use hycote plastic primer, sand it smooth and polish it up a bit. The faults show up better when its glossy, so i can make sure its all perfect before final painting.

Not sure what colour i'm going to do it yet, probably as close to your original wing tip as possible.
