Stuck with Blade Runner Blaster Build

I'm currently working on a "Recreated Stunt Blaster" by Richard Coyle and I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to install the "binding post" on the gun.

How the heck do I drill a hole in such a cramped area?

your other option is to simply turn the tip of an x-acto knife into it. Just as it sounds, plant the tip where you want the hole and start turning it round and round like your rolling a fat booger between your fingers. Its basically boring a hole into it.

Yeah, it can be a pain in the butt. I have no doubt the original builder mounted that on the side plate before mounting the side plate to the gun.

To be strictly correct, it should be drilled as was the hero, since Rich's guns are pewter based a small hand drill or an awl or the knife method described would work , to be completely accurate, it should be tapped to match the thread on the post . If you have a proper WW11 binding post , you 'll need to match the thread with an imperial tap not a metric one
