Strange disturbing Clive Barker news

I really don't know how to take news like this (if it really is true). I have been a fan of Clive Barker for such a long time. He is one of the few writers that I can sit down, read one of his books, and not get bored. I had the chance of meeting him at a Horror convention a couple years ago, and he was very nice (despite being very sick). I felt very happy, and proud to meet and talk with him. Now I just feel really weird, sad, sickened, I don't know! It has nothing to do with him being gay, or being HIV positive, it's all the other stuff! Then again, why did his partner wait so long to file a lawsuit? I guess I need to hear the other side of the story........

The more I think about it, it just doesn't make sense. I think parts of it may be true, but the rest just fabrication. Why would you hang out under those conditions for so long, with a child? There's something missing from that whole story.
