Stormtrooper Rubies Deluxe on sale - and new boots!

Actually, here is a pic from an auction (sorry but I can't link to an active auction directly - you all know the rules) of the Rubies Supreme bucket. Many more pics of the bucket at the auction - go check evilbay for it, and you'll find it...

Since this bucket looks like it was taken from the old Don Post Stormtrooper Deluxe (although this one is assembled in multiple pieces, like the MR CE bucket) I guess it could be modded to a ROTJ style helmet.

Well, it technically is based off of the Don Post Stormtrooper Deluxe bucket (which I have) which was scanned from HALF of an actual ROTJ bucket, and then mirrored to make the other "half" of the Don Post mold.

So, the final result is a ROTJ sized helmet that looks good in profile, but too symmetrical/somewhat squashed across the face. This Rubies Helmet has ANH coloring, as near as I can tell, but could be altered to look more like the ROTJ mold it was based from, if that makes sense! :wacko

Also, the Rubies version does NOT have the black rubber/seal around the neck. The white plastic just "ends" there. At least the Don Post Deluxe had a molded/raised lip, which was painted black to vaguely resemble the rubber seal.
