Stormtrooper Helmet Screw Size

Long time listener, first time caller.

I am working on a ANH Stormtrooper Stunt Helmet and I was wondering if anyone knows the proper screw sized to use for the "ears"? I don't care about the length, I am looking for the diameter.

Its a #4-40 brass flat head screw, 3/4 inch long.
