Storing props

So i was wondering, how do you guy's store your props?
Did you make a museum, did you put them in a closet or do they just gather dust at the basement?

I'm still working on getting mine set up after my recent move. I have a couple bookcases, a larger 5 foot store display case I got from Hobby Lobby when they sold it, and I have a couple Detolfs from Ikea. But I still have way to many props so a lot of them sit in boxes in a closet and I rotate them out out periodically. Though I should probably just get rid of some of them.

I feel bad for the props just sitting in boxes.
I'll be moving in a few months and i'm hoping to get a nice display to store most of my stuff
